We began with the Grapevine Board Report, an open sharing session, and the elections for the East Central and Southeast Regional Trustees, as well as the U.S. Trustee at Large. I’m excited to share more about these when I return.
Committee reports and discussions also began today. If you think we like to wordsmith amendments at our quarterlies or assemblies—this is another level! We heard reports from Corrections, Treatment and Accessibilities, and began the Agenda committee’s report.
In the spirit of “Casual Wednesday,” our Pacific Region all wore matching t-shirts. I’ll include a photo in my report backs!
I also had some fascinating conversations with GSO staff and continue to be in awe of the deep, meaningful work they do every day in service to AA. My respect has only grown for the small but mighty team who answer our calls and emails, and go above and beyond in their research and support.
Tomorrow we dive into committee work, and I anticipate the Grapevine Committee will present our recommendations in the afternoon. It’s shaping up to be another great discussion.
Thank you for allowing me to be your Delegate!
