District 34

DISTRICT 34 – MAY NEWLETTER ARTICLE

District 34 is operating well! The district continues to carry the message by conducting regularly scheduled hybrid meetings every 1st Tuesday of every month. District Officer’s, Chairperson’s, and GSR’s attend and participate in the meetings.

April –

  • Attended – Area 72 Committee Quarterly Business – Vancouver, WA
  • District 34 hosted GSR School along with (4) other districts (33,35,36 & 39) at the Kelsey Creek Church in Bellevue, WA. The event had a good turnout with GSRs in-person and on Zoom. It was a (4) hour event taught by Alternate Delegate Lupita.
  • District 34 DCM and Alt DCM visited the Mercer Island Group, along with other groups individually. The district is excited announce the addition of a new GSR that joined from the Mercer Island Thursday Night Group.
  • The district is continuing to strive toward excellence by sharing, commitment to GSRs, Groups, Area, and GSO. Our group embraces the 3rd Legacy of recovery, unity, and service.  From a personal perspective I embrace recovery through the Twelve Steps, achieve unity in the Twelve Traditions, and service by utilizing the suggestions described in Twelve Concepts for World Service and AA Service Manual.

Yours in Service,

Belinda P.
