This last quarter was a busy one! I am excited to announce that we have elected two Archives Steering Committee members. Donna is our returning ASC member and Devin is our newly elected member! A big thank you to Rita and Robin who are now rotating out – we appreciate your service to Area 72 Archives.
In other news Michaela presented a bid to host the National AA Archives Workshop in Tacoma 2026 and it was accepted! We are so excited to get started forming a committee in the coming months.
Our next quarterly meeting will be held at the Archives Repository in Lakewood February 1st. Details are available on the Area website.
I would also like to introduce myself. I am the past DCM of District 14 Panel 73. The geography of District 14 consists of West Seattle, Vashon Island, and White Center. My service began 2019 with being a GSR to Monday Night Winners and District 14 YP chair. The following rotation. Panel 71, I was the Alternate DCM. I am excited to be your new Archives Chair and will continue to carry on the great work Michaela has done.
