Cleaning, organizing: New filing cabinets – 2 & 4 drawer, replaced the 50+ year-old one, new printer stand, removed the old filing cabinet, 2 30×30 stands, 2 sorters
Research Requests: These need to be directed to Archivist for processing

Past Newsletter Ad Hoc—Past Del 71: quite a process because data in about 11 places, the Google shared drives set up over the last several panels have no coherent structure or naming protocol — it is essential that members of the committee and AA members in general do NOT confuse that work with what Archives does in a Repository (it’s ALL one Repository.
Bobbie B—Gary N., Author of Bobby B the untold story of AAs fantastic communicator (wants access to the letters…haven’t sent him the research request…NEED TO STAMP ALL MATERIAL WITH OUR Area 72 seal, and probably make an inventory of them NLT 2/26/25
Whether the archives material is paper, electronic, audio, or physical artifact – it is all one Repository. And Archives does have a digital repository and it does have a structure. It started in 2019. Your physical repository was created by motion in the mid-70s, and the archivists started using computers to do their work shortly thereafter — Area did not purchase a computer for Archives until the early 2000s.
A 55” TV was donated, a USB expansion for Donna’s PC so it will take ‘c’; acrylic ‘glass’ for photo stand, 25 workbooks are on their way, PLBB 1st edition is on the way, and second edition; 7 binders for Archives kits—validate all materials in Google Shared Drives is the same and up-to-date; ESRI membership

Google Shared Drive for Digital Repository and Backups is very limited until the ‘way ahead’ addresses archival standards…i.e. archives is done by subject…NOT PANEL NOT YEAR
ASC Google Drive—have to move most digitization projects off of shared and have only in house because of Anonymity
