The AA General Service Conference is a pivotal gathering where our area delegates come together to discuss and make decisions for “AA as a whole.” As I’ve not been a delegate, I’ve not had the opportunity to travel to the Conference. However, during panel 74, I was a DCM, and I had the opportunity to witness our delegate fulfill her responsibility to the groups by bringing the information from the conference to our area 72 groups. This process looks different depending on which service position I am holding. Actions taken as a DCM were much different as a GSR, and this year, as a corrections chair, I get to be a cheerleader for everyone!!!
