It has been quite the month. I have had a few good talks with a few good members about different aspects of service. I have reached out to a webservant up in Sequim that helped me to navigate an issue around the treatment Zoom meeting being posted on district 22’s website. It turns out they pulled it from Area 72’s site and it was posted there without a password as well. That led to a different conversation where I talked with the treatment chair about Zoom safety. Apparently, Zoom monitors and lets people know when their accounts are left exposed without a password on the enter webs. Kinda cool but new to me.
I also had a talk with my service sponsor about various things going on with the tech team and our responsibilities and barriers to service that might need to be addressed in the future. This stemmed from a conversation with the current chair that I had at the quarterly meeting. All in all it has been a learning experience navigating the real world application of all of the things I have learned in AA from the steps to the concepts. Grateful everyday 🙂
