What an exciting time! The first month of a new AA position, the first Quarterly completed, meeting new District Chairs and trying to remember my name.
If it weren’t for Joyce, the outgoing Treatment Chair I would have been in crazy, but she came to my rescue. I am so glad the ego gets set aside and people are willing to reach out and train you. I am starting to feel a lot more comfortable with my new tools and processes.
I am so grateful I was appointed to the Area Treatment position. There is much to do and much to learn. I will not need to worry about finding opportunities to help the still suffering alcoholic. There are many kind people who give their all to this amazing area of service.
We appointed Chuck P. as the Bridging the Gap Chair. Thank goodness he accepted. He has so much experience.
